The materials on this site are free to use appropriately for the sake of growing in recovery away from addictive behaviors.

The Big Book posted here is version 2 and is in the public domain. The newest version of the Big Book (which differs primarily by some additional testimonials) is available from the Alcoholics Anonymous site. The Basic Text of N.A. is from the Narcotics Anonymous site and does not appear to be restricted in its use.

The other materials in the Tools section (the LifeJournal imports, the Recovery Journal application, e-Sword Commentaries and the 12Step.org worksheets were all developed by the site administrator and are free to use as needed for recovery as long as they are not charged for. The commentaries on the Bible concerning the 12 Steps were also created by the site admin and are free to use as seen fit for recovery. The content is essentially the same as in the e-Sword commentaries. Commentaries about the individual steps are primarily from other sources that are cited and so should be used with appropriate discretion concerning copyright laws.
