Step 7

Humbly asked God to remove our shortcomings

About Step 7, from Tommy Rosen

Tommy Rosen presents Step 7 and how it showcases the fact that we are not the ones who are removing our shortcomings, but that it comes from a relationship with our Higher Power. In yoga, this is paralleled by the fact that flexibility is an "invitation only event" which happens from continuing to practice and continuing to show up rather than trying to force our way into a state of flexibility. Hopefully you can feel kinship with one or more of the perspectives, however, and thereby gain some guidance. The goal is for you to be able to work the program effectively and find a fulfillment of the the 12 step promises in your life.
