12Step.org is working on a Mac version of the RecoveryJournal desktop software. It is designed to make it easier to work a 12 step program by giving you easy access to built in worksheet questions. This software is free for all to use and distribute as long as it remains free of charge (except for reasonable distribution charges).

September 16, 2009 - We updated the alpha version to 0.9.1. It was made into a universal app so that it can run on older PPC Macs. Also, an icon was added. It is still a work in progress and any feedback is appreciated.

September 10, 2009 - We are releasing the 0.9 Alpha version. Note that this is released mostly to get feedback as to how well it installs on other Mac computers, as we do not yet have a Mac (other than our development computer) that we can test this on. This was developed on Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard), but should run on 10.4 (Tiger) as well. Note that we do not plan to offer any upgrade path for this version, but you can export individual pages that you write to an HTML file. This version has no encryption of the database or private login at this time.

This is a work in progress, and we hope to continue creating updates. The future Windows version will use this same code base, so the features should be similar once we get to a stable version.
